End-of-quarter
I know there are a lot of campaigns – including ours! – asking for your attention right now. It’s the last “end-of-quarter” before this all-important midterm election, and I’d appreciate if you could give me two minutes of your valuable time to explain why that matters here in Alaska 👇

At the end of each quarter (March, June, September, and December), all federal campaigns have to report their fundraising data to the FEC. These reports are then posted publicly on the FEC website for all to see.
These deadlines are really good for transparency – for example, they’re how we know that my opponent has taken nearly $300,000 from the trawling industry that’s decimating Alaska’s fisheries. But they’re also a major test of our campaign.
The press, our opponent, his billionaire backers, and the entire DC establishment are watching closely to see if we have the strength to take on the rigged system and win this toss-up Senate race.
We’ve outraised our opponent in both of the previous two quarters this year – and it hasn’t been close 😉. But he’s also an entrenched incumbent with a 12-year fundraising advantage and the entire weight of the Republican DC establishment behind him, super PACs and all.
Between his campaign, the campaign arm of Senate Republicans, and the billionaire-funded dark money groups propping him up, there are more than $50 million in ads against me. In our small, relatively inexpensive media markets, that goes a really long way. No matter what channel you’re watching here in Alaska, the attack ads are unavoidable.
I believe that Alaskans can see through the ads and understand the truth about this race and my record, but as the outside spending ticks up, it’s becoming harder and harder to cut through the noise and deliver our message to every community in the Last Frontier. That’s why I’m reaching out today to humbly ask for your support.
We need our upcoming FEC report to be as strong as it possibly can be. If we fall short, the dark money groups and corporate special interests backing my opponent will double-down on the money they’re pouring into Alaska and scale up their attacks even further.
Every time we approach a deadline like this, I’m amazed by the sheer number of everyday people who rise up and stand with me in this fight for Alaska’s Senate seat. When we win this race – together – we’re going to take on the corporate greed and corruption in DC and finally give power back to the working people of our state and our country. We’ve just got to win.
So, to put it plainly, I’m asking you to step up. Please make a grassroots donation to my Senate campaign today – even if it’s as little as $5.
No matter how much you’re able to give today, it all adds up to something incredibly powerful.
Thank you.
