This is a blatant, despicable political threat – all because a historically unpopular 12-year incumbent is scared that he’s going to lose the Senate seat that belongs to Alaskans.
This is the exact type of corruption Alaskans are so fed up with. Sullivan has enriched himself at our expense for over a decade, and now he’s using the full weight of the DC establishment to try to keep himself in power and put his own interests ahead of Alaskans. But we won’t let him.
My team and I are going to fight to ensure that every eligible Alaskan can exercise their right to vote, regardless of the outcome. That’s why we’re investing heavily into voter education efforts across the state, and why we’re fighting this frivolous Lower 48 attempt to interfere with our lawful, secure elections.
But I’ll be honest: These fights are complicated and expensive by design. It’s going to take ENORMOUS resources to fight back, resources that we can’t spare with just 11 days until the most consequential Senate race in the nation.
So, we’ve set a $500,000 emergency rapid response goal to help us fight back.
They’re panicking because we’re winning. Let’s finish strong.
